It is my great pleasure to announce that the Society of Korean Smart Water Grid will host the 13th Smart Water Grid International Conference (SWGIC) on September 17–19, 2025, at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon, Republic of Korea. Since our founding in November 2014, we have worked tirelessly to advance smart water grid technologies, and each year SWGIC has grown in scope and impact.
Under the theme “Digital Transformation of Water Infrastructure and Practical Application of Innovative Smart Technologies,” SWGIC 2025 brings together AI driven water management, digitalization, and forward looking solutions for carbon neutrality and climate crisis resilience. This conference is Korea’s only international forum dedicated exclusively to smart water grids—a true convergent platform that tackles complex environmental issues such as climate change, carbon neutrality, and marine ecosystem from a water centric perspective.
Over three days, you will have the opportunity to participate in technical and special sessions, workshops, forums, an industry exhibition, and best practice presentations. |

Our carefully curated program will explore cutting‑edge topics including predictive asset management, digital twin modeling, and integrated water energy systems. We have invited leading scientists, engineers, policymakers, and industry practitioners from around the globe to share their insights and real world case studies.
SWGIC 2025 is designed not only for those working directly in the water sector but also for professionals in environment, energy, and ICT fields who seek to collaborate on sustainable solutions. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and showcasing practical innovations, we aim to accelerate the deployment of resilient, efficient, and future‑ready water infrastructure.
